Michael Fox Joins Edge Technology Services as Vice President, Global Media

Middletown, CT, April 29, 2013 – Edge Technology Services, a leader in corporate technology consulting services, is pleased to announce Michael Fox has joined their media practice as VP, Global Media. Fox’s founded company MBF Global Media Consultants, acquired by Edge Technology Services, will transition with Fox - rolling up into Edge’s media practice. Fox brings with him over 25 years of U.S. and International media expertise. In his new role at Edge Technology Services, Fox will be working with Tom VanBenschoten, VP, Media Practice for Edge to help media clients create and implement strategies that expand the value of their technology investment.

“Having Mike join our media practice team is exciting as his industry experience and respect will help broaden Edge’s consulting expertise especially in the areas of network ad sales and commercial operations, international as well as domestic,” said VanBenschoten. “Mike will not only offer our media clients a rare blend of strategic project planning and tactical execution skills, but will also provide a depth of knowledge that has previously served demanding media organizations like ESPN and HBO well.”

Fox most recently served as Managing Director for MBF Global Media Consultants where he provided global consulting and executive management support to both advertising and media markets. This role has entailed serving as Executive Advertising Sales Consultant for HBO Latin America which will continue under the new Edge paradigm. Before founding MBF Global Media Consultants, Fox held many successive executive roles at ESPN and ESPN International over a 23 year tenure where he played an instrumental role in establishing ESPN’s advertising business throughout the world including television, digital, radio, wireless, and print. His roles included VP International Advertising Sales Operations, Planning & Administration; VP Worldwide Advertising Sales; Director International Advertising Sales; as well as Director International Affiliate and Syndication Sales for ESPN International.

Edge Technology Services Appoints Beth Bagg to Recruiting Manager

Middletown, CT, May 1, 2012 – Edge Technology Services, a leader in corporate technology consulting services and staffing, has announced that Beth Bagg has been appointed Recruiting Manager. In her new role at Edge Technology Services, Beth will be responsible for managing and growing all recruitment efforts in the greater Boston, MA area. For the past three years, Beth has served Edge Technology Services in the role of Technical Staffing Executive; where she has established a proven track record for not only recruiting, but aligning top technical talent with the needs of Edge clients. Prior to joining the Edge team she served as a Technical Account Manager with Tristaff Consulting for over two years. She has also held the role of Corporate Trainer for both Business to Business Marketing and First Future Credit Union. Beth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

Edge Technology Services to Expand their IT Staffing Service Solutions in LA

Middletown, CT, April 4, 2012 – Edge Technology Services, a leader in corporate technology consulting and staffing, announces plans to expand their IT staffing service solutions in Los Angeles, CA. Edge currently serves the LA media market with IT consulting and project management services and will now expand that offering to deliver full service IT staffing augmentation solutions as well. Edge alum, Karen Barker will manage the new staffing operations; which will include temporary, permanent, and contract-to-hire service solutions.

In her new role as Business Development Manager, Karen will be responsible for introducing and delivering the new full service IT staffing solutions to the already established Edge media client base; while simultaneously building new client relationships. For the past five years Karen has served as a Sales Executive for Edge where she has established and maintained many successful client relationships. Prior to joining the Edge team, Karen worked for Modis IT, also in a Business Development role that focused on IT Staffing.

Tracey Sims Joins Edge Technology Services as New Business Development Manager
